Welcome to Morocco. Your adventure begins in Tangier, the legendary city connecting two seas and continents. Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you can wander through the medina, feel the energy of Petit Socco Square, and enjoy the views of the Strait of Gibraltar from Café Hafa.
After breakfast, we bid farewell to Tangier and head inland toward the Rif Mountains. Our destination is the dazzling “Blue City” of Chefchaouen. Today, we change scenery radically, heading into the Middle Atlas Mountains. We pass through Ifrane, the “Switzerland of Morocco,” and the Cedar Forest of Azrou to see Barbary macaques. The landscape becomes arid as we approach the Sahara. Arrival in Merzouga, where you’ll ride a camel into the Erg Chebbi dunes for an unforgettable sunset. Overnight in a Berber camp under a blanket of stars.
Wake up to a magical sunrise over the Sahara dunes. After breakfast, we depart for the impressive Todra Gorge, a giant canyon perfect for a hike.
